Which MacBook to choose in 2025? Help me choose 🍏💻

Hello, friends, it’s me again, LiamThompson, and I’m at a crossroads in technology again. This time, the question is even more serious – choosing a new MacBook!

Here’s the situation: my old laptop is no longer up to the task. Every rendering of a video with my cats turns into a game of “catch the moment when the process freezes”. 🐱💥 It’s time to upgrade to something more powerful, but I’m in a mad confusion because of all these models, processors and screens with super-ultra-HD something or other.

The MacBook Air M3 looks like a top-of-the-line option – thin, light, and said to fly like a jet cat. But does it have enough power to handle heavy videos?

The MacBook Pro M3, especially with a 14-inch screen, looks serious. It seems like buying a tank to work in the kitchen – it has enough power for everything, but won’t it be too much for my budget?

What do you recommend? Does it make sense to invest in the Pro, or will the Air be enough? If someone is already using the new models, please share your impressions.
P.S. The cats are also interested – they’ve already chosen a box, but I haven’t yet!!!!

I completely understand your dilemma! 😅 In short, the MacBook Air M3 is a lightweight, stylish, and productive option. It’s fast, it doesn’t overheat, and it’s definitely enough for editing cat videos if you don’t plan to render 4K or play with heavy projects. But if you want maximum power to tear through any task, then the MacBook Pro is your option. Yes, it’s more expensive, but the performance is out of this world.
