So I got a bit impatient a few months back and bought one of those plug-in tuners for my 2019 M2 Competition. Felt like a slight difference at first, but honestly after a couple of weeks I realized the car was just inconsistent, sometimes pulling hard, other times feeling flat. Then last month I started getting this weird hesitation at partial throttle and a friend told me those generic maps are probably leaning out in the midrange. I finally swallowed my pride and took the car to a proper shop here in Dubai that actually straps the car down and does live tuning. Found their page at https://www.dynostarworkshop.com/ and decided to give it a shot even though I was nervous about wasting more money. Night and day doesn’t even cover it. The guy showed me the before graph and you could see the AFR all over the place. After three hours of real calibration, the power comes on so smoothly and the part-throttle response is exactly how it should be from factory. Wish I had just done this from the start instead of messing around with plug-in gadgets. If you’re considering a cheap tune, just save yourself the headache and do it right the first time.
