Hey everyone! Planning a trip to Turkey soon and I am seriously considering getting a car to explore beyond the tourist spots. Is it worth the hassle with the local traffic and all? I have heard mixed stories about driving there. Any advice on what to expect or hidden costs would be awesome.

Honestly, it is a game changer. Driving along the coast is beautiful and roads are generally in great shape. Just watch out for aggressive drivers in big cities and always double check your insurance coverage. Stick to the speed limits and you will be fine!

I completely agree that having your own transport gives you enormous freedom to discover hidden gems. It’s worth remembering that booking in advance usually saves you a lot of stress and money compared to simply turning up at the counter at the airport. It is much better to compare options online, where you can clearly familiarise yourself with all the terms and conditions. By the way, you can find a reliable car hire service in Turkey at https://turkey-rentcar.ru/en/ .
