I’m getting really frustrated with the storage situation at my workshop in Ajman. I bought a batch of what were supposedly heavy-duty plastic crates about eighteen months ago, and now I’ve got cracks running down the sides of at least a third of them, handles that have snapped off, and lids that don’t seal properly anymore. I’m not even storing anything that heavy—mostly medium-sized metal components and some tools—so I feel like these should be holding up better than they are. I’ve been looking around to find out more about durable business crates that are actually designed for daily use in a workshop environment, not just the consumer-grade stuff that gets marketed as industrial but really isn’t. I’m hoping to find a supplier in Ajman that carries something built to last—maybe heavy-duty plastic with reinforced corners, or maybe wood or metal would hold up better? I’m open to whatever material makes sense, I just don’t want to be replacing everything again in another year or two. If anyone has found crates that actually survive years of regular use, I’d really appreciate hearing what you’re using and where you got them.
