I am happy to be part of this forum because I enjoy learning how colors can change the feeling of art and design. I spend a lot of time experimenting with color balance, warm and cool tones, and how different shades affect the personality of characters or illustrations. Sometimes I start with one main color and then slowly build rest of palette around it, and other times I look at real-life objects for inspiration. I think creativity becomes stronger when we understand structure behind it, not only emotions but also logic and balance. In my daily work outside art, I also deal with planning and calculations, for example when preparing a steel structure estimate for a building project. This kind of work needs accuracy and clear thinking, and I feel this mindset also helps me in creative work. When I plan color composition or layout carefully, the final result looks more solid and professional. Even though art and construction are very different, both need good foundation and smart decisions at start. I would like to know from other members: do you plan your artwork before starting or do you prefer to work freely and adjust later?
