I’ve been getting calls from a company called Grant & Weber for the past couple of weeks. They don’t leave a detailed message, just a name and a callback number. I looked them up and saw they do medical debt collections and revenue management.
I’m not aware of any outstanding medical bill that would have gone to collections. I asked them to send me a validation letter in writing, but the caller got a little pushy and said they’d “note the account” but kept pressing for my info.
Has anyone else dealt with them? Are they known for being aggressive or for pursuing the wrong person? I want to handle this if it’s real, but I also don’t want to get scammed or pay something I don’t actually owe.
Any advice on how to get them to verify the debt properly? Thanks in advance.
