Alright lads, so I’m sorting out a trip to Turkey and obviously want to keep costs down where I can. Back here in the UK even a basic rental for a week sets you back a fortune. A mate told me you can rent car Turkey cheap prices wise compared to pretty much anywhere in Europe. Is that actually the case or does it look cheap upfront and then hit you with fees at the counter?

From experience the base prices are genuinely low compared to Western Europe. The hidden fees thing is real though if you go with dodgy operators. Stick to proper services and read what’s included before you book, sorted.

Yeah Turkey is one of those destinations where renting a car actually makes financial sense. To rent a car in Turkey at cheap prices you just need to know where to look rather than grabbing the first result that comes up. The difference between a solid operator and a random one is pretty noticeable when you’re standing at the desk with your luggage. Services that are upfront about pricing and don’t mess around with surprise charges are out there, just takes a bit of digging. One worth checking out is https://turkey-rentcar.ru/en/
