    Bimatoprost in Careprost 3ml binds to the same receptors in the eye as prostamide and reduces the tomographic (pressure-sensitive) resistance to aqueous humor outflow by opening the trabecular mesh for fluid drainage. As fluid flows into and out of the eye balances again, ocular pressure drops, reducing the risk of optic nerve damage and loss of sight from untreated glaucoma.
