    Just transitioned from an academic research lab into a private biotech firm, and wow—sourcing lab equipment here is a whole new beast. We’re building a setup almost from scratch, and while I’m familiar with the science side, I’m lost on where to get reliable gear without corporate markup inflating everything. Who here has handled purchases directly? Any reliable vendors or marketplaces you’d recommend?
