My colleague has been thinking about upgrading his outdoor space and recently started exploring glass rooms as an option to create a more usable area throughout the year. The concept looks great in pictures, but he is unsure whether glass rooms are actually comfortable in real life, especially during extreme weather.

One of his main concerns is heat. During summer, does a glass room turn into a greenhouse effect space that becomes unusable during the day, or are there design features that help regulate temperature? On the other hand, how do glass rooms perform during colder months? Do they retain enough warmth to be practical without excessive heating?

He also came across Duramax Sheds Online while researching outdoor structures, although they are more known for sheds. It made him wonder if brands that specialize in outdoor storage also offer solutions or alternatives that might be more cost effective than full glass rooms.

Another issue is privacy. Glass rooms look open and modern, but do they feel too exposed, especially in residential areas where neighbors are close by?

Maintenance is also a big question. Do glass rooms require constant cleaning to keep them looking good, or is upkeep manageable with regular care?

Trying to understand whether this is a worthwhile investment or more of a luxury feature that looks better than it functions in everyday use.
