I’ve recently run into a residential lease dispute in the West End and am trying to find a lawyer in Toronto who specifically handles Landlord and Tenant Board matters.

With so many advertisements on the TTC and online, how do you filter for someone who actually has a high success rate in mediation? Is it more reliable to use the Law Society Referral Service or to seek word-of-mouth recommendations in local GTA business groups?

I need an advocate who understands the “mammoth” complexities of the newest 2026 housing regulations and can act quickly to resolve the issue.
