Hi everyone,

I am about to sign a major contract with a new construction supplier I found online, but I have a bit of a gut feeling that I should double-check their credentials first.

Before I send over a large deposit, I want to make sure they are actually recognized by the tax authorities as a legitimate entity. I need a quick way to check VAT registered company details to ensure I can claim back the tax on my own business returns later this year. Has anyone ever dealt with a supplier who turned out to be unregistered?

Thanks in advance.
