Got a 2013 Mazda 6 that’s been absolutely reliable since I bought it four years ago, never let me down once. Was driving home from work yesterday on SZR and suddenly felt this huge lurch like someone hit me from behind, but nobody was there. Then the engine started revving really high without speeding up and this burning smell came through the vents. Pulled over shaking, called road assistance, got towed to some workshop the guy recommended near Industrial Area. They haven’t called me back yet and I’m just sitting here stressed not knowing what’s happening or how much this is going to ruin my finances. Anyone been through this with a Mazda before? Is this something that happens often or did I just get unlucky?
