Today, I’m excited to share with you an incredibly useful technique in Diablo 4, especially after the latest patch 1.0.3. The developers have officially fixed the dungeon reset glitch, so it no longer works. However, I have an alternative method that I’m going to demonstrate, and it only takes a second.
To begin, we need to locate a nearby event. I highly recommend the Hell Ties event, as it has numerous enemies that drop cinder, which can be converted into a plethora of legendaries. Additionally, we’ll also collect a substantial amount of oval, which I’ll explain shortly. It’s worth mentioning that many players are still unaware of this technique, so I’m glad to share it today.
Now, let’s dive into the proper execution of this method. You want to activate an event like Wicked, which consists of multiple waves and may involve destroying towers or other objectives. This event is beneficial because, as I mentioned earlier, you can acquire a significant amount of cinder and even have a chance to obtain legendaries. However, this is not where the legendary method comes into play; I’ll explain that shortly.
Proceed to eliminate each enemy in the event until you reach the final part. Once you’ve accomplished this, defeat the boss and collect all the loot around you, including cinder, legendaries, and rares. Take a moment to quickly assess the gear you’ve obtained. If you come across some excellent rares, you can keep them. However, if the rolls are subpar, it’s recommended to salvage most of the items. This way, you won’t waste too much time analyzing which legendaries or rares are worth keeping. Focus on identifying the better gear, and if the legendary rolls are disappointing, consider holding onto the rares instead.
Now, let’s reach the boss encounter. Take out the boss, and after defeating them, gather the rewards, which include a chest. Actually, disregard that chest comment; it’s unrelated to the topic at hand. Moving on…
Now, let’s pick up the loot. Once you’ve done that, simply exit the area by pressing “T” on the keyboard or the corresponding button on your controller. After you return to town, do a 180-degree turn and head straight back through the portal. You’ll notice that the event has respawned. Repeat this process as much as you like.
The primary reason for repeating this method is to accumulate oval, but during the Hell Ties event, it’s also beneficial to collect cinder. You have the freedom to choose your preferred approach, but I recommend focusing on gathering cinder first, followed by oval.
By following this method, you can amass a substantial number of legendaries, gold, and even rare items that you can sort through or potentially trade if you’re not particularly excited about them. That’s why I find this method preferable over others for acquiring legendaries. Although you could repeatedly farm nightmare dungeons for legendaries and unique items, I personally favor this technique, which involves participating in the Hell Ties event, gathering cinder using this method, and then heading towards the Mystery Chest to claim a plethora of legendaries. Additionally, we can trade the oval for extra legendaries if desired.
Ultimately, the choice is yours in terms of how you want to approach this. Aim to acquire as many legendaries as possible through this method.
