Absolutely classic timing, finished a late shift and came down to the Mall of the Emirates basement to find my little Tiida completely dead, not even the interior light wanted to blink, and as I was sitting there waiting for the recovery truck I started scrolling for decent replacement options that wouldn’t drain my wallet and somehow landed on https:amaroncarbattery.ae which had a bunch of specs I didn’t fully understand but at least the search function told me which model fits without me having to pop the bonnet again in that humid parking lot. I’ve never changed a battery before so I panicked a bit about getting the wrong one, but the guy I called from that site actually walked me through the group size and told me they could deliver and install the next morning if I could manage without the car tonight, which honestly saved me from some random shop quoting double. Battery’s in now and the cold starts feel way snappier than before, although I’m low key wondering if I should’ve checked the alternator too or if these things really do just die without warning after three years in Dubai heat.
